Growing up in New York, being educated in California, and following a grant to study in Paris were all experiences leading him to his ultimate career in this world-class windy city.

John appreciates life through the camera lens. From major corporations to cultural institutions, celebrities to politicians, Chicago's most notable individuals and families are among his continuing clientele. His work can be found in some of the finest homes and offices in the country, as well as stunning images from his travels.

John Reilly is passionate about everything he does and believes that you should set a course for yourself and go for it, and more than 25 years, he has done just that, leading by example. John's creative vision and consistent ability to deliver beautiful images influence each photography session. "I love to learn and try new things. I thrive on diversity and seeing things in a fresh new way". This attitude motivates his continual quest for perfection in every assignment. His talent comes from a genuine love of people and the desire to make them look and feel extraordinary.

John and his partner and wife, Myra, have built a photography business that includes everything from individual portraits to fine art, book covers, special events, and annual reports. He has now added a location in Lake Forest.
